Does MYBC replace the home studio?
No. Students remain enrolled at their regular ballet school.
Will my academic school automatically approve Fridays?
No. Each school decides whether and how to approve the external-learning day.
Will it count toward VCE or ATAR?
No. Empower Dance offers a nationally recognised qualification. It does not count toward VCE or ATAR.
Can a student attend without enrolling in the qualification?
Yes. Students can participate in the day program without enrolling in the qualification.
Is pointe compulsory?
No. Pointe is readiness-based. Students who are not yet en pointe will complete pre-pointe training until their home studio approves them to begin pointe work.
Are performances guaranteed?
In-studio showings are included. Youth Company productions require a separate audition and involve an additional cost.
What if a student is injured?
MYBC uses safe modifications and may request clinical guidance. Assessment timing or evidence may also require approval.
